QEB
Questionnaire of Eating Behaviour
QEB is the prototype of the KomPAN® questionnaire. Researchers starting their research are encouraged to use its improved version, i.e. the KomPAN® questionnaire.
The qualitative-type questionnaire, with a cafeteria of 6 answers to choose from, it contains questions about dietary habits and the list of 21 food items and allows for a description of the respondent's habitual diet in the last 12 months. The respondents can choose from 6 categories of food consumption frequency: (1) never, (2) 1-3 times a month, (3) once a week, (4) several times a week, (5) once a day, (6) several times a day.
The data obtained is in a qualitative data format and can be transformed into semi-quantitative data that reflects the daily frequency of food consumption (times/day).
The second part of the questionnaire contains 26 statements about food and nutrition that allow the assessment of the respondents' nutrition knowledge.
Based on the collected data, respondents can be ranked in relation to food consumption and/or their characteristic dietary patterns (DPs) can be identified.
